"We have owned our two bedroom home in this quiet, maintenance free, residential area for five years. Our days are filled with activities ranging from dominoes and bridge to trips to Branson, Missouri. We can be as busy as we want. We travel worry free to local events, day trips to Kansas City and overnight mini-vacations. There's always something different to do. This isn't just retirement; this is really living!"

"I am 81 and Ann is 74. Do we like living in Brooking Park Village? You bet'cha. For the 40 plus years before moving here we lived in Grandview, Missouri. For several years now the tasks of keeping up a house, cutting grass, cleaning gutters, raking leaves, going up and down the stairs to do laundry have become a real challenge to us due to our advancing years. Now we no longer have to put up with that kind of life since we have purchased a home in Brooking Park Village. Yes, we own the home but the upkeep, cutting the grass, etc. is now done for us. This leaves us plenty of time to enjoy all the grand people, the activities of the Village, and trips on the Village bus to many places for shows, lunches and dinners (yes, they do the driving for us). We don't just like it here, we love it and we're sure you will too."

"After my husband and I did many years of Motor Home traveling we realized we needed to make some changes. My husband's emphazema went into advanced stages and our activities became restricted. It was time to make our remaining years a little easier. We sold our home of 40 years where we raised our family and bought a duplex in the Village. We are really glad we did now as my husband's condition is terminal and I do not have to worry about the exterior of the home, lawn or snow removal. The housekeeper makes every day living a little easier also. We have friends and social activities we can participate in and trips on the bus to enjoy. When we can no longer live in our home we can sell it or leave it in our estate as it's our investment. The move to Brooking Park Retirement Village was the wisest decision we could have made."

"I am very satisfied and happy with my decision to move into the Village. Everything is wonderful. I have no complaints."

"I cleaned house, took care of lawn and shrubs, and shoveled snow in winter time. After a year of this I decided to move to a town house in Brooking Park Retirement Village, put the key in the lock and 'go'. I chose a lot on a street where there was only one unit finished in March 1985 and moved into my home on August 15, 1985. I've travelled and had no worries about my home. I have great neighbors and friends. We have a lot of activities and trips. I'm here and it's still a great place to live."
